Join Junie B. as she starts a new school year, writing down her escapades in her Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal. From navigating the cafeteria to turning a stubbed toe into a show-stopping performance, and even getting her first pair of glasses, Junie B.’s year is full of excitement. Along the way, she learns about friendship, family, and the importance of everyone’s story.

Playmakers Tour

This fun and interactive performance walks students through the process of writing a play. Students will see a handful of winning plays, and then, they will work together to write a play on the spot!

The Flying Penguin and Other Winning Plays

Top plays written by elementary school students from our community and around the world are brought to life by a cast of professional actors. From an acorn afraid to leave the tree to the transformative power of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and a penguin flying to outer space, we spotlight the magic of children’s creativity through this cherished annual production for over 30 years.
