Board Of Directors
Learning and Families is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our entire leadership team is here to help you in any way we can. On Co-Op days, you can spot us wearing raspberry-colored T-Shirts. Don’t hesitate to stop us and ask questions or email us anytime. We are here to serve your family!
Jody is mom to three homeschool grads, ages 33 (law school grad), 25 (police academy grad), and 21 (currently in college), and also a homeschooling grandmother to her preschool granddaughter. She has been homeschooling for more than 20 years. Jody co-hosted a syndicated parenting radio show, was a columnist, travels and speaks nationwide at homeschool conventions, and writes curriculum.
Allison has been involved with Learning and Families for the past four years. She is the mother of two daughters ages 8 and 11 and has been homeschooling both since they were in Kindergarten. When Allison isn’t busy homeschooling, she and her husband enjoy remodeling houses together all while running their own Home Improvement company in Bradenton.
Karrie has enjoyed project management since she was a teen. Juggling all the pieces of a project and making sure things were completed correctly and on time is why she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She also enjoys working with numbers and even considered becoming a CPA at one point. These passions have translated well to her role as the Treasurer for LAF which she has held since June 2020. She has two high school children whom she homeschools.
Bailey has been married to Ronnie for 15 years. They have three kids, ages 10 to 15. This is Bailey’s 11th year homeschooling. She has been with LAF for eight years and has been the Jr. Co-Op Supervisor for eight years. Bailey is passionate about photography and helping her kids pursue their dreams.
Madeline is a homeschooling mom of four, ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade. She has homeschooled from the beginning and is in her sixth year at LAF. She has been a facilitator for five years and on the Board for three. Madeline enjoys reading, serving at church, and coffee.
Jenni Stahlmann is the mom of seven children, ages 4 to 23, including one child on the autism spectrum. The Stahlmann family has homeschooled since 2004 and has belonged to LAF since 2008. Their oldest three are LAF grads. One of her grads recently graduted Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, and another earned the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. Jenni’s fourth child Sam is founder of the LAF Theatre Troupe. Jenni was a journalist and columnist for more than 20 years and hosted a nationally syndicated parenting radio show and column. She currently writes curriculum and travels throughout the U.S. and Canada with business partner (and LAF President) Jody Hagaman, speaking at homeschool conventions.
