Registration & Supply Fees

There is a one-time $25 Co-op registration fee for each student taking one or more classes.

Be sure to note the supply fee for each class. These differ from class to class and will be listed beneath the class description here on the website. These fees are automatically added to the tuition cost for each class in the Parent Portal, where you pay for classes after your Co-op application has been approved.

All registration and supply fees are due in full by July 15, 2025 to hold a student’s spot in class.

Intro to Music Theory

Course Description
This course provides an introduction to the foundational concepts of music theory, designed for the beginner student. Students will explore elements such as notation, scales, intervals, chords, and rhythm, all while learning how these concepts apply to both written and performed music.
 
During the semester, we will dive into the relationships between notes and keys, basic harmonic progressions, and the structure of musical compositions. Students will have exercises, ear training, and analysis projects of simple musical pieces which will increase the understanding and application of the concepts learned through the course materials.
 
By the end of the semester students will have a solid foundation in music theory, giving them the confidence to read, interpret, and create music.

Musical Theatre Dance

Course Description
This class takes a deeper dive into the dynamic world of musical theatre dance. Students will learn challenging choreography that blends jazz, ballet, tap, and contemporary dance techniques, all tailored to the musical theatre genre. Focus will be placed on storytelling through movement, enhancing stage presence, and refining performance quality.

Course Description
This class introduces students to the joy of musical theatre, where they will learn to sing, act, and dance. Students will practice performing songs from popular musicals, focusing on improving their acting, vocal techniques, and dance skills. They will work together in small groups, and larger ensemble pieces. By the end of the semester, students will feel more confident on stage and will have a better understanding of how to bring a musical performance to life.
