Registration & Supply Fees

There is a one-time $25 Co-op registration fee for each student taking one or more classes.

Be sure to note the supply fee for each class. These differ from class to class and will be listed beneath the class description here on the website. These fees are automatically added to the tuition cost for each class in the Parent Portal, where you pay for classes after your Co-op application has been approved.

All registration and supply fees are due in full by July 15, 2025 to hold a student’s spot in class.

Junior Theatre

Course Description
Junior Theatre introduces young artists to the world of acting and storytelling. Through fun and interactive games, improvisation, and scene work, students will develop foundational skills such as character development, emotional expression, and collaboration.
 
The class encourages creativity and builds confidence, preparing students for performance opportunities.
 

Required Materials

  • Notebook and pen/pencil (for notes, journaling, and script work)
  • Highlighter (to mark scripts)
  • Simple costume pieces (e.g., scarf, hat, or jacket for character exercises/scenes)
  • Small props (if needed for specific activities, such as a toy or book)

Junior Theatre Dance

Course Description
Designed for younger dancers, this class focuses on introducing musical theatre dance styles and techniques. Students will learn choreography inspired by popular Broadway musicals while developing rhythm, coordination, and stage presence. The emphasis is on having fun while building confidence and versatility as a performer.

  • Hair tie (for students with long hair)

Junior Physical/Vocal Warm-up

Course Description
This class provides a dynamic start to the day for young performers. Students will engage in age-appropriate physical exercises, vocal warmups, and mindfulness activities designed to prepare their bodies and voices for the demands of performance. Emphasis will be placed on proper technique, relaxation, and fostering a positive and focused mindset.

Dance Classes

Junior Ballet

Course Description

This beginner ballet class will include all the basic positions and movements that are fundamental to the classic dance style! Students will learn fun choreography, memorize the five positions of the feet and arms, how to convey emotion while dancing, and learn much technique throughout the year!

  • Skirt (any color or pattern of choice)

Junior Jazz

Facilitator: Chanel Cotton

Time: 1:20 – 2:20

Course Description
This course teaches the basics of jazz dance technique through an inspiring and upbeat curriculum. Students work as a group on gross motor development, coordination, flexibility and strength along with developing harmonious and strong classical lines in the body. Classes begin with a group warm up and continue with across the floor progressions. Class typically ends back to the center for fun and exciting dance combinations that are sure to get everyone moving! Students have the opportunity to perform in two showcases during the year, one in the Winter and one in the Spring.

Junior Tap

Facilitator: Sophia Smith

Time: 9:00 – 10:00

Course Description

This will be a fun class, learning all the basic steps and moves that a beginner should know! Students will learn all about rhythm and how to strike the floor with their tap shoes. Overtime, they will learn how to shuffle, ball change, flap, cramp roll, heel- step, and so much more!

Worship Classes

Junior Human Video

Facilitator: Sophia Smith

Time: 2:30 – 3:30
Room: CI 210
 
Course Description
This course will be a fun new experience for many! Students will learn how to combine worship and movement together, dancing and using drama with worship songs to tell  beautiful stories.
 
Each of the selected songs will have a message that students will be sharing through dancing. They’ll learn how to show the love of Christ and learn and grow in their own relationship with Him in the process of ministering in this unique way!
 
Although these examples are older students, these links will give you an idea of what human video is.
