SUMMARY:LAF Fall Musical -- TheWizard of Oz
DESCRIPTION:This Fall\, LAF proudly presents one of the most beloved tales of all time. The LAF Theatre Troupe is bringing to life on the stage the story of Dorothy and her three friends as they trot delightfully and tunefully down that fabled road of yellow brick in The Wizard of Oz musical. \nAfter a tornado whisks young Dorothy Gale away to the magical land of Oz\, she teams up with a Scarecrow\, a Tin Woodsman\, and a Cowardly Lion to find the mighty Wizard of Oz\, who can send her home. Along the way\, they must avoid the clutches of the Wicked Witch of the West\, who is trying to steal the mysterious magic slippers that once belonged to her evil sister… but are now on Dorothy’s feet. Dorothy eventually learns just how magical friendship can be and how wonderful it can feel to go home again. \nThe LAF Fall Musical will be held at Rise Above Performing Arts Centre in Sarasota. There are two performances\, at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm\, and there are three ticket price options: \n$10 – General Admissions \n$15 – VIP \n$60 – Table Top (four seats) \n
